Ex-marine strives to use business as a platform for assimilation

Roger Cornwell, owner of Turning Tables Woodcraft, will use his business as a platform for assisting ex-veterans in their transition back into society.

According to Cornwell’s GoFundMe, “young men or women are having difficulty adjusting to civilian life or need a place to live and work to get back on their feet. This will give them the opportunity to learn a new skill, do wonderfully satisfying work with their hands, receive the rich fulfillment that comes from creating something and give them time to adjust to a new life!”

In order to transform his business into an outlet for assimilation, Roger strives to raise money for a larger workspace, more advanced tools and hired veterans that will aid him in his work while he assists them in getting back on their feet once they return home from war.
